Get the kids in their costumes and come Trick or Treating at the 457 "Cannonball" Steam Engine, Sales Depot and Cannonball Gardens!
Sponsored by: The Friends of the 457, RHC: Ryan Hanig Contracting, Inc., Blooming Lotus Pottery and, of course, our volunteers!
Last year was the first Trick or Treat Event at the Train, and it was a great success! This year the 457 will again be highlighted with festive decorations, but we have expanded the trick or treating with a stroll through the Cannonball Gardens, located just behind the engine enclosure. Costumed volunteers will be along the path to greet the kids with treats.
The gardens are maintained by the volunteers of the Friends of the 457. New railings were installed this summer, for visitor assistance and safety. Work continues each year to improve the engine and gardens. If you would like to volunteer or sponsor an event, please message this page.
This is the closing day for our 2024 season and we hope you will join us in celebrating the tremendous year we’ve had, by visiting all of us at the Cannonball’s Trick or Treat Event.
Hope to see you there!
