We deeply regret to announce that the 2020 Cannonball Day event in support of the Rotary Cannonball/M&StL 457 must be canceled due to CoVid19 restrictions out of safety concerns for the public. Originally postponed to a late August date, it is now evident that such a gathering poses unacceptable risks to all. The Friends of the 457 sincerely hope that 2021 will be better for all. In the meantime, please recall that the fun of Cannonball Day was about the financial support for the maintenance of the Cannonball that continues throughout the year. Volunteers do the work in most cases, but supplies, materials, and paint cost money. Please consider a direct donation to the Cannonball fund at Mason City City Hall. Donation info is HERE.
